SUMMARY
When trying to change the default file format, the ‘Apply’ button is greyed out, so it’s not possible to change the format without doing some other editing (e.g., changing the file name).


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to ‘Settings → Save’.
2. Change the default file format, e.g. from BMP to PNG.


OBSERVED RESULT
The ‘Apply’ button is disabled (greyed out).


EXPECTED RESULT
The ‘Apply’ button should be enabled, and clicking it should apply the new file format.

Seems related to Bug 421965, if not the same root cause. Similarly, I cannot reproduce. This works fine for me when I follow those instructions.

This is 100% identical to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421965

Can't reproduce neither of those 9with and without filename change).

Tried with Spectacle 21.12.1?

Sorry for the spam...
Is your spectaclerc file writable by the same user that uses Spectacle? Can you change and save other settings successfully?
