SUMMARY

Single tag present in Xmp.dc.subject in XMP sidecar when multiple tags present in Xmp.lr.hierachicalSubject and database


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add multiple tags to photo
2. Change tags

OBSERVED RESULT
Xmp.lr.hierachicalSubject and database have multiple tags for photo in XMP sidecar but Xmp.dc.subject has only one.

EXPECTED RESULT
Xmp.dc.subject has entries for each in Xmp.lr.hierachicalSubject and database

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Up to date Debian Buster, digiKam 5.9.0, KDE Frameworks 5.54.0, Qt 5.11.3

DigiKam-5.9.0 is a very old version (over 2 years). The problem here is not reproducible with digiKam-7.0.0-RC. If no new digikam version is available for your distribution, you can try the AppImage from www.digikam.org.

DigiKam is now also available as a flatpack with nightly builds.
