Description Martin Tlustos 2020-04-01 07:19:16 UTC
SUMMARY
It would be nice if a current version of digikam could be available via flatpak, either in distribute.kde.org or in dl.flathub.org. I tried the appimage version, but it's very poorly integrated into my KDE environment (mouse, icons etc.)

Operating System: KDE neon 5.18
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0
Qt Version: 5.14.1
Kernel Version: 4.15.0-91-generic
OS Type: 64-bit
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz
Memory: 7,7 GiB

Seriously ? I use it AppImage into Plasma desktop and it's well integrated and can be used in production...

We have now an official FlatPak bundle updated nightly on KDE continuous integration stream and available on Kdeapp flatpak testing repository.

You can use Discover application with Plasma desktop to install this digiKam bundle.
