Never mind. Desktop Cube effect was disabled on my system.
Deskop Cube options should be hidden in Screen Edge and Touch Screen kcms
when such effect is disabled.
Comment 4 Patrick Silva 2020-05-19 12:48:43 UTC
humm, desktop cube effect works with Pager widget even if disabled in Desktop Effects kcm.

The Task Manager handles this situation with the Present Windows effect by checking whether the effect is enabled and falling back to another effect if it's not. And I recently added a message to the KCM that will warn you if you choose it as an option but it's not enabled. We could do the same thing here.

No longer relevant since the Desktop Cube effect was removed. :( It will be back though! But for now, closing.
