Window decorations after sleep

SUMMARY
For some applications, the Window decorations aren't responsive/redrawn after waking from sleep. Mousing over the close, minimize, maximize will not highlight them, and resizing the window just stretches the title bar.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Put computer to sleep
2. Wake computer from sleep
3. Resize application window or mouse over the title bar buttons

OBSERVED RESULT
Title bar just stretches and buttons don't react to mouse over. Attached screenshot - Telegram and Spectacle are shown incorrectly and have not refreshed - KInfocenter was opened to show how it should look. (Blurred private information)

EXPECTED RESULT
Title bar is redrawn correctly, and buttons highlight on mouse over.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.69.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2
Kernel Version: 5.6.11-arch1-1
OS Type: 64-bit

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The buttons seem functional still, can still minimize/maximize/close.

Well that's odd. Are these Aurorae decorations? They don't look like they're from the default Breeze theme.

I have this bug, with Kubuntu 21.04 when I use any of the aurorae themes.
In addition to the symptoms in the OP, the window title in the titlebar doesnot change.

kwin --replace
repaints the fixes the issue until next sleep.

thanks.

This happens for me as well, albeit with Materia decorations.

Operating System: Kubuntu 21.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.11.0-31-lowlatency (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11

thanks

Exact same issue here with Monochrome KDE and Materia KDE decorations. It doesn't happen with Breeze.

I have an NVIDIA GTX 970 with proprietary drivers installed.

The following works to restore the decorations:

- Toggling "Hide Window Border" from System Settings > Shortcuts > KWin
- $ kwin_x11 --replace
- Logout/login again

I tried enabling nvidia-{hibernate,resume,suspend}.service, to no avail. I wonder if users with an AMD GPU are also experiencing this.

Operating System: Arch Linux / Gentoo
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.87.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.14.12
Graphics Platform: X11
