ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 natherul0 2020-04-26 10:07:33 UTC
To add to this I also run 2 monitors and nvidia graphics but everything was working prior to the update and xfce and gaming works fine after as well.

I attempted to reset all KDE settings by deleting all files in .config that started with kde or plasma but then the error is this instead but the symptoms are the same.

Comment 2 David Edmundson 2020-04-26 13:25:05 UTC
That log say nothing particularly useful.

Most likely cause is an application in ~/.config/autostart or /etc/xdg/autostart advertising that it has startup notifications and then not delivering. Please move them to verify.

If possible get a full bootchart log as per:
http://blog.davidedmundson.co.uk/blog/plasma-startup/
Comment 3 322997am 2020-04-26 14:06:00 UTC
I have moved all of the autostart files, and the problem persists, except now it black screens. I will make a boot chart and post it. Similarly to the original reporter, I have 2 monitors and an Nvidia graphics card.
Comment 4 Antonio Rojas 2020-04-26 14:17:52 UTC
Probably dupe of bug 420549
Comment 5 natherul0 2020-04-26 14:41:11 UTC
Created attachment 127894 [details]
bootchart

added bootchart as requested.

To someone totally new to this I cant seem to find anything off in the bootchart.

I do not have telepathy installed so if that was the takeaway from the other bug I would have to say no.
Comment 6 natherul0 2020-04-26 17:10:34 UTC
nvm, Previous comment was correct. It was telepathy that caused the issues in my case. I was dumb however when looking before and only checked for packages called telepathy and not telepathy-kde. My bad.
