Description alt.su-7oon2u5b 2018-12-25 08:03:04 UTC
SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open "System settings"
2. Go the Personalization > Applications
3. Here select "Launch Feedback"

OBSERVED RESULT
a) The window title keeps updating really fast. A star (*) symbol shows up, as if I made a change

b) /usr/bin.systemsettings5 greatly increases in CPU usage (over 30% of my 8 cores). Opening Launch Feedback directly (menu), makes "kcmshell5 launchfeedback" use about 15 % of my CPU

EXPECTED RESULT
a) The window title shouldn't update / display the start (*) symbol, unless I change something under Launch Feedback

b) the CPU usage shouldn't be so high

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon 5.14
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.53.0
Qt Version: 5.11.2

I can confirm such behavior on Arch Linu running plasma 5.15 beta.
