SUMMARY Whenever I start Gwenview on Wayland, opening any image, the area where normally the window is displayed, is 100% transparent. After a short time the image is displayed, but when zooming and moving around (or doing nothing?), Gwenview crashes. In the terminal it says: The Wayland connection broke. Did the Wayland compositor die? Crash (Memory dump written) I don't know how I can debug this for you. Unfortunately the deepin-screen-recorder does not work on Wayland at all, I will try another recorder later. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.69.0 Qt Version: 5.14.1 Kernel Version: 5.5.8-1-MANJARO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Scaling: 1.5
Forget screen recording. It's still impossible on Plasma Wayland. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 403323 ***
(In reply to Patrick Silva from comment #1) > Forget screen recording. It's still impossible on Plasma Wayland. > > *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 403323 *** I see, unfortunately Plasma Wayland is pretty unusable for me in its current state. :-(
