SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. have two user accounts on your system. Let's call them userA and userB.
2. while logged with userA, right click on wallpaper, hover over "Icons", set "Arrange in" to columns and "Align" to "Right"
3. do logout
4. start plasma with userB
5. do logout
6. start plasma with userA

OBSERVED RESULT
icons are incorrectly positioned in the left side of the screen.
Click on wallpaper and they move themselves to right side.
Watch the attached screen recording please.

EXPECTED RESULT
icons should be positioned in the left side of the screen immediately after the step 6

icons moving themselves to another position after I move an icon horizontally

Icons also change their position on the screen after I move an icon horizontally.
They go back to initial position after click on wallpaper.
Such behavior does not occur if I move an icon vertically instead.
Watch the attached screen recording please.

The steps above are not necessary. Login while icons are arranged in columns and aligned to right
is almost always enough to reproduce this behavior. I'm writing "almost always" because the problem does not occur after every login, it occurs in 95% of the cases.

Creating or deleting a folder or file on desktop also makes the icons move themselves to the left side of the screen. The icons go back to correct position when I click on the wallpaper. Watch the attached screen recording please.
