Comment 1 Doug 2020-01-30 03:34:20 UTC
Seems to be related to having proxy clips turned on. I turned them off and was able to render correctly. Had some issues with rendering name but not related. Is this something that I should know (turn off proxy clip) and not be doing. If that is the case then not a bug just new user issue. If it should work then still a but. Thanks.

Project bin: Do you get a "P" with yellow background on the JPG top left corner?

I tested with 19.12.2 and the master and it renders fine to MP4.

Please delete the Kdenliverc file and test again: https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual/Windows_Issues#Cannot_open_projects_made_with_previous_version.2C_timeline_snaps_back.2C_cannot_import_clip

Rendering issues with JPG on Windows should be fixed. Please try with version 20.08.1.

I did a test with 20.08.1.
the white box has the size of the JPG picture, but it is still a white box.

untitled.mp4

Rendered as mp4 the JPG (proxy on and off). Both are working (see attachment). Do you have parallel processing on? If yes, switch off. Do you have file names with special character?
