Description jawanmardy 2020-01-17 16:03:10 UTC
SUMMARY
I guess Okular would be the prefer document viewer for Linux and even for other OSes. Also there is one thing in my mind which could help. PDF viewers like Adobe Reader and Foxit Reader has the ability of smart selection mode in which the cursor is like a hand. In general it is a hand and by pressing any button it grabs the document and moves it around. On the lines of text it becomes like a text selection tool and on images the cursor would act as image extraction tool by which pressing the left button grabs the image and dumps it on desiered place and right key brings a menu (like Evince).

OBSERVED RESULT
The current cursor is not wise enough. User must change the behavior of cursor and it's hard in full screen mode.

EXPECTED RESULT
A wise hand selection mode which can change in multiple places would be a great benefit to the user.

Also the right click menu does not contain much options. One should open the review menu to highlight text or underline it. It is good to add these options in the right click menu after a text selection.
