Created attachment 124716 [details] Faces as icons for people panel, mockup. SUMMARY I am not sure if I already submitted a wishlist for this, but I can't find anything similar in the bugtracker now. It was discussed during the gsoc2019, but it was not implemented due to lack of time. Basically, the Person list is just a text list. This is not optimal if we consider we are dealing with faces. It should be more visual. What I propose is to automatically display that person's face in the list, and making the icon size a bit larger (hardcode it to 64), separately from the rest of the panels with tree-views. It would look like the mockup I have attached.

Maik, Marc, As Face Tags are an extension of Regular Tags, we can already assign manually an icon to Peoples tree-view items, using drag and drop from icon view. By this way, if we can automatize this property at a face tag creation, this will solve this file. There is nothing special to re-invent. All is already in place technically. Just the automated icon assignment must be done. Look my example taken under Windows 10 where i just drag and drop a face from icon-view to face tags tree-view : https://i.imgur.com/tx9dHXy.png It work like a charm... Gilles
