I have a vertical panel on the left side of monitor 1 of 2. I have it set to autohide. If I move the cursor to the panel, it becomes visible as expected. If I move the cursor a bit to the right, without leaving the panel, and then "push" towards the edge of the screen, it glitches (fades in and out quickly). Operating System: KDE neon 5.17 KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.65.0 Qt Version: 5.13.2 Kernel Version: 5.0.0-37-generic OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz Memory: 15,6 GiB of RAM
Seems the problem is gone after removing the touch screen feature that was enabled. "The issue is reproducible on Arch Linux too. To solve it all you have to do is disable the Touch Screen in Settings > Workspace > Desktop Behavior ... an restart the session or the system. Cheers!" https://forum.manjaro.org/t/a-tiny-gap-margin-issue-kde/89325/22
Seems like a bug in the KWin Touch Screen effect.
Does this happen only on X11 or on both X11 and Wayland?
Can reproduce it on X11, though not sure we can fix it.

This cant be fixed on X11. By default touchscreen edges are now disabled anyway.
