(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: 4.0 (using KDE 3.0.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:

Nothing special about my KDE version. No Updates or anything else. Its from Suse 8.0.

Just visit a Site which has a favicon e.g. Google.de . When Site is loaded right click -> "Add to Favorites"

Now as u can see the favorite has the icon.

Now go to the editor for the favorites. Delete the Site->press save->and add it manually by clicking "New". Enter the URL and the Name and press Save it again.

The Site is added but there is no icon. Ok we haven't visited it yet. So Click on the favorite and let the Site finish the load.

We may expect that the item in the List will get its icon back. But it don't. Even in the "URL Text Box" is no icon anymore.

If we go back to the editor delete it and add it over the popupmenu "Add Favorite" again the icon is now there.

PS: I've got the german version so the keywords will probably differ.
