log output of CLI run

SUMMARY

I have tried this using two different sets of 3 EV bracketed shots - with the same result.

I start with the create stacked images, then confirm the necessary apps are installed. At that point, I get the pre-processing window pop up, I select all three images, and it starts with the message "this may take some time" - I've let both run for over 3 hours without return. The window (and spinning "dots") just keeps going.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Take three raw images and run "create stacked images"
2. Confirm applications installed, and select all three images for aligning/stacking
3. Grab a number of beers and wait three hours :)

OBSERVED RESULT

The process never completes. Running digikam from the CLI shows this set of log messages. It looks like the process does complete, but the GUI is not notified?:

I can provide sample images - give me an e-mail address and I can share them with you over google drive.

I think this problem have been fixed with current implementation from git/master. So typically with next 6.2.0.

To confirm, you can try to install 6.2.0 pre release PKG for MacOS available here :
