Description Lastique 2019-04-27 17:56:54 UTC
SUMMARY
Accessing options of widgets on the panel is virtually impossible as Plasma closes the options menu when mouse moves away from the widget.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Unlock desktop widgets.
2. Make sure you have widgets on the panel. In my case, the panel is horizontal, and the widget is an icon.
3. On the panel, click on the sliders icon on the right. This will open the panel options allowing to adjust the panel width, etc.
4. Move the mouse over the icon widget. An option window appears, showing the icon name, "Configure" and "Remove" options.
5. Start moving the mouse towards the "Configure" and "Remove" options.

OBSERVED RESULT
The menu disappears as soon as the mouse is moved away from the icon, even if the mouse is over the menu.

EXPECTED RESULT
The menu should not disappear, it should stay open as long as the mouse is over the widget or the menu.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Kubuntu 19.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.56.0
