Hi, I have this bug since KDE 4 but no one seems to address it. I need multiple attempts to remove an item from the panel. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CYh-ukOacy4zeMYVgwsqU5UwC0tLoHF2/view?usp=sharing Why do we even have to use such a stupid approach to add/remove an item? Have a look @Xfce( https://screenshots.debian.net/screenshots/000/007/946/large.png ) where you can open a dialog that displays all items, you can drag them around, add or remove them - dead simple! EXPECTED RESULT A proper and user-friendly way to add/remove panel items even if they are empty SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Debian testing KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.54.0 Qt Version: 5.11.3
Yeah, not ideal. I can reproduce this with git master. The pop-up just really wants to close itself in various circumstances when the mouse has been moved over it.
Though I think we should fix the bug, not invent new UIs as proposed.
(In reply to David Edmundson from comment #2) > Though I think we should fix the bug, not invent new UIs as proposed. Agreed.

The bug seems fixed now as of Plasma 5.16.
