if i create a new album then no problem to export a photo or a video
no problem exporting photo, video to google drive
I think Gdrive is more generic that GPhoto, and it can host all kind of files. I'm not sure if Gphoto can really, or can always host video as well. After all Google as YouTube for that (and supporting YouTube web-service is another story). Google service fetaures change in time... Gilles Caulier
This is a bug in the Google Photo API. We can not write in existing albums. You will see a locked folder icon in the album list. Maik

problem still there. it seems the google photo api bug is still there.
Uploading videos works without problem. Just not to old existing albums and so it is a duplicate of Bug 400187. Maik
