Menu text with 'Krita dark'

When I set 'Breeze' as Plasma color theme and 'Krita dark' as Krita theme, menu items becomes almost invisible on hover. More generally, it affects all apps that can set color theme (Kate, for example). As I understand, they use system color theme for menu, not the selected one. Is this intended behaviour?

See attachment for example.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set 'Breeze' as system color theme
2. Set 'Krita dark' as Krita color theme
3. Hover mouse on some menu item
4. Text becomes almost invisible

Plasma 5.15.0 / Frameworks 5.55.0

I can confirm the issue, there seems to be sections of the theme that require restart, but things like the canvas scrollbars and the hover-over don't seem to be affected by anything.

No idea how we'd go about fixing this though.

We can't: this is a widget theme thing, not something in our code.
Comment 3 wolthera 2019-02-19 13:45:23 UTC
so sent it to the breeze product then?

Yes
Comment 5 wolthera 2019-02-19 14:02:29 UTC
Ok, then I'll set the product to 'breeze'. Hopefully they'll know what to do.

KColorSchemeManager is setting only some (or the wrong) colors from the color scheme to the application's QPalette. It may be a limitation of the way the color scheme is actually incompatible to QPalette.
