SUMMARY When switching to a tab that isn't Process Table, the process count in bottom left of the window stops updating. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start something that creates and destroys processes frequently (ex. ninja build any "large" application) 2. Look at process count on the bottom left of the window while in the Process Table tab 3. Note the process count changing 4. Switch to summary tab, or any other tab 5. Note that the process count stops updating
I can confirm. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.55.0 Qt Version: 5.12.1

I can confirm this bug. I noticed it when I started ksysguard, there was 0 processes reported in the status bar. It's because ksysguard remembers the active tab from last run. The number updated after I switched to the Processes tab. Operating System: Gentoo Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.14.1
I confirm this problem. Arch Linux + KDE 5.19.1. - When opening ksysguard not on tab 'proces table', '0 processes' is shown. When starting new processes, the number of processes grows. - When changing to tab 'proces table', the number of processes is shown correctly. - When changing back to another tab, the number doesn't change anymore.
ksysguard is no longer maintained, in Plasma 6 there is the Plasma system monitor for this task. If your issue still happens with the Plasma 6 replacement, please re-open and we can move this bug to the new product, thanks!
