A screenshot of the issue

SUMMARY
When using the Breeze-dark theme, the background in the settings application looks corrupted (see photo)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set theme to Breeze-darl
2. Open Settings
3. Stare at it in disgust

OBSERVED RESULT
The background in system settings shows a glitchy pattern

EXPECTED RESULT
The background in system settings should not show a glitchy pattern.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma: 5.14.2 and earlier
Tried on the following Linux distros: openSUSE, Manjaro, Arch Linux, Fedora

I'm afraid I don't see the problem. Can you explain what's wrong? Also are you using NVIDIA hardware?

I do not use NVIDIA hardware.
In item view, the background of the System Settings application shows a repeating pattern, instead of a uniform color or It stretches when the window is resized.
It's quite faint in the screenshot I attached, I'll attach another one with modified color so what I'm talking about is more obvious.

Oh, you're talking about those vertical gradients underneath the white lines?

Is it that fact that there's a gradient there, or the fact that it's not as smooth as it could be?

From a time where people thought background gradients look good.
