existing adress

Version 5.8.2
Existing adresses are displayed. If I try to edit them - the right adress-section is empty.
If I try to add a new kontact and fill into the adress then there is no storing possible.

I am facing exactly the same issue with version 5.8.2!
Address locations are shown but cannot be edited. All fields in the address location editor are left blank except country (default).
Details as attached by Albrecht Will.

I can also confirm this bug in version 5.8.2 on Arch Linux - I can only ADD new locations, never edit an existing one. This happens regardless of the address book type - local or CardDAV.

I can't seem to edit existing addresses for a contact (i am using it via Kontact). The viewing pane shows the "Home" address when I click on the contact but when I edit the "Home" address in "Location", there is no data to edit (and its not in any of the other address choices). I can only add another address and then the viewing pane shows 2 addresses for "Home" and 2 QR codes. I now have 2 "Home" addresses - how can i delete/rename the 2nd one?

Version of Plasma: 5.13.3

Versions of Kaddressbook:

The bug has gone. Kmail 5.9.1, KF 50.
Thanks to all who helped.

I'm the reporter of duplicate Bug 397895. I can also confirm that the bug is no reproducible with KAddressbook 5.9.1. I'm boldly closing this issue.
