After upgrade to 2.7.0 two additional columns appeared on both panels - "Changed" and "Accessed". When I right-click on columns and deselect them, they disappear and I get the same layout as before, but after restart of Krusader, everything is reset and those two columns are back there. I can't get rid of them.
Reproducible on Fedora 28 and Krusader 2.7.0. If I save settings before closing Krusader, when I restart, the columns layout is right. Can you confirm that? Just before closing Krusader, use "Save position" from the Window menu.
No, for me saving the position does not work. After restart I still get reverted to the additional columns. I am on Arch Linux.

Martin, what's you Qt5, KF5 versions. This is might be related to bug #391283. Could you share your ~/.config/krusaderrc ? You can also try to close Krusader, rename the config in a different app or using mv command, and open Krusader again. See if you can repro.

If I remove the file, then, surprisingly I get the first run wizard and then I get the columns as before, no accessed or changed columns. they also do not come after restart. However, I lose all my settings.. Is there a way around it ?

I did some experiments with merging the default-created config with my old config and the line causing the trouble is this one: Starter Profile Name=start I have profile of this name and I can select it, seems to be working fine.
Is this still an issue?
Not for me anymore.
