After a samba share creation, a smaller icon indicating shared folder overlaps the folder icon. This smaller icon only appears when I press F5 after sharing creation. Reproducible on Arch and neon dev unstable open dolphin, select a folder, press alt+enter to open its properties dialog select "share" tab, check "share with samba (ms windows)", click "ok" button no change is noticeable in folder icon press F5, now a smaller icon indicating shared folder overlaps the folder icon
Re-assigning to KIO, that overlay comes from KFileItem and KDirWatch probably doesn't signal/watch a change there.

folder icon also is not immediatelly updated after we disable a Samba share by unchecking "Share this folder with other computers on the local network" in "Share" tab of folder Properties window. 1. open Dolphin 2. right click on any folder and select "Properties" 3. select "Share" tab, check or uncheck "Share this folder with other computers on the local network", click on "Ok" button No change is noticeable in folder icon until we press F5.
