Description Jo 2018-02-13 10:01:48 UTC
Many years ago I discovered an amazing software which I use still nowadays..
http://al.chemy.org/features/

This application allowes us to redefine creating/sketching in the digital era... As much as I love the simulation of traditional brushes, as much I realized that emulating traditional with digital tools looks like the first attempts of the film industry. Bringing "theatre" plays onto the big screen... was a cumbersome move for a new genre in its infancy.

I'd love to see all features of Alchemy integrated into Krita, and redefine "sketching" how it should be today. Some of the features in Krita seem to come from Alchemy but it's not enough.

The shape brush engine is a reimplementation of al.chemy. There are features missing, but those have separate reports for that already.

See: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315079 and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319446 .

A catch-all wish item isn't useful in our development workflow, so I'm closing this request as a duplicate.
