Description Aleix Pol 2018-01-19 21:43:43 UTC
I usually have my menu on the window decoration.
On LibreOffice that's not the case.

I know I'm not the only user with this issue.
$ libreoffice --version
LibreOffice 5.4.4.2 40m0(Build:2)

It's quite annoying because I can't do much stuff one does with LibreOffice.

Did you try with SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=kde4 - if we're lucky the qt 5 one will get working global menu

Hi,
I've the same issue on Gentoo with LibreOffice 6.0.0.3 00m0(Build:3) - No menu.
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=kde4 does not help.

But the worst think is that I'm not able to switch it off. I have no menubar options in systemsettings as shown there: https://apachelog.wordpress.com/2017/02/02/how-to-global-menu-in-plasma-5-9/#jp-carousel-1599 :-(

In which config files is it stored?

Also strange think is that I've no Global menus enabled on 5.11. Somehow it automatically enabled when I upgraded to 5.12.

I've find workaround: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390177

gmenu-dbusmenu-proxy will provide LibreOffice menu support, perhaps not out of the box (needs gtk3 theme and/or appmenu-gtk-module)
