Description wincak 2017-12-12 19:34:51 UTC
Adding calendar synced with Nextcloud through PIM plugin in settings and clicking Ok/Apply causes hard disk start to work hard and makes desktop freeze completely in a few seconds with recovery only possible through hard reset (not even console switch or ctrl+alt+backspace work).
After reboot the calendar in settings is not selected again, making it impossible to use it.
Facebook calendar added through PIM plugin next to this one doesn't cause these issues.
Using mentioned nextcloud calendar in Kontact works OK. The server is in my local network and accessible. Synchronization works through CalDav.

Is there a way to debug this issue somehow?

Reproducibility: always (with current setup)

KDE Plasma: 5.11.4
KDE Frameworks: 5.40.0
Qt: 5.9.3
OS: Manjaro 64-bit

Please check if the workaround from bug 375395 comment #6 makes a difference.

It does! Setting start date for all TODOs makes adding the calendar possible. Unset start date for a single TODO and it crashes again.
