Created attachment 107776 [details] Recording of problem Steps to reproduce: 1. Attempt to drag the desktop toolbox (I think this is the thing that says "default" on it?) to a corner of the desktop. It will jump around strangely as shown in the attachment.
Can't reproduce it in: Distribution: KDE neon Developer Edition - Stable Branches Plasma: 5.11.4 Frameworks: 5.41.0 Qt: 5.9.3 Kernel 4.10.0-40-generic Tried on all four corners.
Me neither. By the look of it, you're using a non-standard theme. It's possible that's causing the issue.
Created attachment 109396 [details] Recording with Breeze theme This is still a problem, and has nothing to do with the desktop theme or hardware because this is on a different system with the default breeze theme (the other one was Oxygen, which is NOT non-standard; it's included with Plasma.)
Are you still able to reproduce this with 5.11.4, or only with an older version? If so, can you try with 5.11.4?
Sorry, I forgot to mention the version. This is with 5.11.4.
Can reproduce this bug in: Plasma: 5.11.5 Apps: 17.12.1 Qt: 5.10.0 Frameworks: 5.42.0 Kernel: 4.14.14-1-MANJARO Also very often the toolbox after jumping around hides in the bottom right corner below the panel, tried in 'Breeze Dark' theme with various bottom panel heights

Can also reproduce with the top screen edge (on a multi-screen setup, which might matter?); the toolbox jumps horizontally.
This is happening to me too. Mostly when placed just above the panel but sometimes (varies with the theme though) at top left corner. Operating System: KDE neon 5.16 KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.59.0 Qt Version: 5.12.3 Kernel Version: 4.15.0-51-generic OS Type: 64-bit

This bug has been fixed with a rewrite in Plasma 5.18 that has removed the Desktop Toolbox in its current form.
