Straight lines across regions of no data of energy consumption

If it so happens that the machine was turned off for a period and switched on again later, the 'Energy Consumption' graphic just draws a straight line joining the two points. But that is plain wrong. It should show 0 consumption for that period.

I somewhat agree it could be improved. But how? it's unclear.

Maybe a different colour? something visual that shows when no data is found.

0 isn't more true than a straight line.

when the computer is turned off, energy is unlikely to change by a lot, unless it's being charged.

anyway, the library will report the new numbers and a straight line in drawn...

I guess current behaviour is very good.
maybe add data points on the line?
