Description yuradoc 2017-07-28 12:50:13 UTC
Hello.
I use Kubuntu 17.04.
I moved to village where is slow internet connection.
I see that Discover often stops indication during downloading/installing updates.
So packages progress bars stop moving.
When size is big it gets feeling like uncertainty.
Often process stops with crashing after some time.
Sometimes I see that packages updated, sometimes it listed updates like before.

I think it must be improved as it breaks usability.

Anybody can confirm this?
netem or other Network Emulation tools can help for emulation this to make internet slowly.
Big problem for some people is that Discover doesn't save packages that are downloaded already sometimes, so it start download them again when you try install packages again. Slow traffic rate often is limited by some downloaded volume.
