Description Rafael Linux User 2017-06-06 08:00:57 UTC
I usually use fish as multiple users. Some as root privileges and others not, so for me (and anyone) will be very important that Krusader show the user that I'm using in that connection (as Konsole does when doing an ssh connection).

for exampple (user@server) fish://23.32.33.2/home

Please, could you implement this feature?

Thank you

Question is: where should the user information be shown? The tab label should be as short as possible and it will already include the server name in the current git repo for the same reason.

I was thinking not in the tab labels, but in the upper bar, where you can change from folder level clicking on ">". In that place, user can be put before the server and even you can gain space stretching the one before and after each ">" (see attached image). Is only an idea.

Thank you

They are only suggestions. I'm sure someone can have better ideas.

Sorry, I made a mistake (my English is not very good). I wrote "streched" (without T) and should be "narrowed", not "stretched" (the fact is that the verb "estrechar" in Spanish is "to narrow", that's the reason of my mistake).
Sorry.

The full URL (with username and file path) in the panel tooltip is already implemented and will be in the next release.

Suggestions 1 and 2 are difficult to implement because the widget used here (KUrlNavigator) is part of KF5-KIO and not directly included in Krusader.
Another whish for the frameworks-kio would be better (the widget is also used e.g. in Dolphin).

Thank you for the information. I didn't know these details.
I'll suggest it to KIO developers.

Best regards
