Often I find myself in the situation that I - insert an USB drive - open dolphin - copy some files to or from it - want to unmount it in order to make it ready to unplug CURRENT STATE: - The address bar shows something like "74,5 GiB Removable Media" (this means dolphin knows that it currently deals with a removable drive) - The status bar contains these items on the right: -- zoom slider -- free space indicator SUGGESTION: - On the right-most corner - next to the free space indicator - there could be an item that makes it possible to unmount the drive (and automatically close the dolphin window?) -- Rationale of why it could make sense to place the unmount next to the free space indicator: e.g. I load files to a stick and watch the indicator for free disk space. When it is (nearly) full the next action would be unmount. - Additional benefit: if there are more than one removable devices attached, there will be no doubt or confusion about which is the correct drive to unmount. :) Possible duplicates: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=154499
