Description Bill 2017-02-18 14:20:06 UTC
VNC client Viewer connects and shows a frozen screen of the desktop. Cursor moves but no response from frozen desktop. While view at remote PC you are able to use the cursor (from the client PC) to control the desktop. Linux 4.9.6-gentoo-r1. KDE 5 Plasma.

This started happening after upgrade from KDE 4 to KDE 5 plasma. I'm running a VM of the same setup as the Linux 4.9.6-gentoo-r1 but have not upgraded it to KDE 5 yet. Desktop sharing works fine. It's running Linux 4.1.15-gentoo-r1 and KDE SC Version 4.14.16.

I have 2 other machines that are running Gentoo Linux with KDE 5 Plasma and there exhibiting the same problem.
