Korganizer (latest from NEON) doesn't fetch events from Google. How to reproduce: 1. open Korganizer, setup google calendar account. -> Korganizer fetch all events and tasks from google. Enable autorefresh of cal. in Korganizer. 2. Add event in google calendar web interface (or in app) -> Korganizer does NOT fetch it, nor when I "reload calendar". --- with this behaviour the google calendar integration is unusable, and it is problem mainly for companies. P.S. Adding events IN Korganizer works without problems -> They can be viewed/edited in web googla cal. interface.
The same bug appears in other "distributions" like Kubuntu 16.04 with older KDE5.
I'm seeing this in Korganizer as well (17.12). What is really annoying is the PIM extension in the calendar widget shows all the events and details. This tells me the data is there it just isn't being displayed in the calendar app.
Is this a duplicate of Bug 449024 (or the other way around)?
Ping. Bug 449024 was "fixed" over a year ago, but the problem either persists or has returned. The calendar in Thunderbird seems to sync OK with gmail, but KOrganizer doe not, at least not predictably.
@jack: can confirm that it stopped working somewhen during the last days. My Calendar synced fine in both directions but I saw that some newer events were not synced anymore. I tried adding an event to Korganizer as well as Google via browser. Both only stayed where I created them. No sync. PIM mudule says "Ready". I even tried to re-authenticate. No effect. No sync. As said: it worked fine until ~ 4 weeks ago. No clue where to debug.
Most likely a dupe of 473897 as Google groupware is broken in applications 23.08.0 This is assuming your running 23.08.0 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 473897 ***
Thanks Colin, I just wanted to add the in fo that the error obviously came with the update from 23.04.3-1 -> 23.08.0-1 (tested in a VM that was not updated yet and worked fine)
