(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kmail Version: KDE 2.2.2 Severity: wishlist Installed from: FreeBSD Ports Compiler: gcc 2.95.3 OS: FreeBSD OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified How about adding a 'mailing list manager' to KMail? This would let you manage your subscriptions to all your mailinglists. It would know how to send control messages to all the major mailing list managers. That way you can easily say "i'm on vacation" and it will automatically send emails to all your subscribed lists to say 'suspend my emails'. Then when you get back you can say "I'm back" and it will automatically send out emails to re-enable your messages. This feature would also let you subscribe unsubscribe change to digest only mode. One thing it would definitely help with is forgetting what lists you're subscribed to their passwords how you control your subscription and the web page that tells you about the list. I think this would be a fantastic feature not seen in any other mailer. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
