I have an empty panel on the screen (because of the bug I just opened before) and I placed it on the right edge (because if I put it on the left, there is the switching desktop bug) and clicked on add objects, and the list of the plasmoids popped up on the left side of the screen, which is quite inconvenient. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add an empty vertical panel on the right edge of the screen 2. Try to add plasmoids in it. Actual Results: They show up on the opposite side Expected Results: They show up next to the panel I'm adding them to

We are currently redesigning the Plasma editing experience. There are two options: Either the Widget Explorer (the "thing to add objects") is always at the same place, or it is always next to the panel. If we put it next to the panel, then we'd also have to make it horizontal for horizontal panels. The first option provides consistency whereas the second one offers shorter distances between explorer and panel. I currently lean towards keeping the first option, but it's not been decided yet.
I'm increasing the priority of this because setting kwin to give focus to the window under the mouse, on the way of the mouse across the screen, the plasma thing loses focus and disappears.
