Description Larsen 2016-06-20 21:14:42 UTC
Kdenlive doesn't remember the vertical splitter position between the top elements and the timeline.
It is possible to store this in a layout, though this has to be manually loaded after Kdenlive startup.

It would be more convenient if Kdenlive remembered this position.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change the vertical splitt position
2. Restart Kdenlive

Actual Results:
Splitter is reset to the former position.

Expected Results:
Splitter should be at the same position after Kdenlive has been restarted.

Kdenlive 16.04.01 (missing in the version drop down)

Can you please try with a non-maximized window? Your report might be a duplicate of the report about pane layout not being remembered correctly when Kdenlive window is maximized.

Yes, you're right. When I first un-maximize the window, then reposition the vertical splitter, and restart Kdenlive, the position is indeed remembered. I was also able to use this as a workaround.
