Image tags like this one <img border="0" width="624" height="46" id="Picture_x0020_2" src="cid:image001.png@01D1A5F3.DFC30130"> does not render. Instead, it displays alt text with the original border size. Interestingly, pressing 't' on message to open up editor mode, images does render. But this solution is far from optimal...
