Description stu109382 2016-04-28 12:44:58 UTC
Hi,

(Don't now if this issue is sorted to the right product)
Scince Kubuntu 15.04 I am not able to access the system root via GUI. If I do, the whole system freezes and only a reebot helps. However, I'm still able to do something like "ls /" in console. But as soon as I access / from e.g. Dolphin, the system does not do anything anymore. I can't even switch the tty via ctlr+alt+f2.

As workaround I hide all links to / in dolphin and added shortcuts directly to /opt and other folders that I sometimes use. But this seems to be a heavy bug.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Dolphin (or Gwenview or anything)
2. Using this application, open file system root /

Actual Results:
The base directory is displayed

Expected Results:
Complete system freeze. No respond. Can only restart.

Issue persists since Kubuntu 15.04. My laptop is a HP Compaq 6530b.
