I can't seem to get the touch screen move/zoom feature to work I really wanna work on this drawing for Kappika, but the zoom gesture i use, a LOT, so it makes it really really hard to draw with it not working. If theres a quick way to fix this or to get it to work again, i'd like to know. it stopped working on the 2.9.10 and i went to update it to 2.9.11 and it still isn't working. I'm using a windows 10 nextbook 2 in 1 tablet to draw (wanting to update it to Ubuntu studio but i'm too lazy and my PC's filled with files, can't copy them over anytime soon so) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the program. 2. Try to zoom in or move with the 2 finger gesture Actual Results: It didn't move at all, i tried to restart my Pc and reinstall it again, but it still didn't move/zoom in (i use it to zoom in and move Expected Results: when i put my fingers on the screen and move them away/apart, the screen is supposed to zoom in when i close them together, the screen is supposed to zoom out. Also in this action, i can move the screen around as well. It's fustrating me out of my mind...
Hi, I'm sorry, but I doubt that this is a bug in Krita: you say that it stopped working while you were using 2.9.10. That means that krita itself didn't change, so logically, if it worked before with the same krita that it doesn't work with now, that means that something else on your system changed and broke the gesture. We're getting bug reports all that time that basically come down to "I got a Windows 10 update and now X, Y or Z in Krita doesn't work anymore", but we're not the ones making the Windows updates! Here on my surface pro 3, pinch zoom and pan still works fine, though I mostly test with the 3.0 alpha these days. If you are running a 64 bits version of Windows, you can give that a try: http://valdyas.org/~boud/krita-master-fb07755-x64.zip -- it's a really experimental build with a different compiler. Just extract, and run bin/krita.exe. It will not remove your installed version of Krita and it will not mess with your existing settings.
Ah, and I remember that we had this report before https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356959 for that reporter, it started working again, which sounds like windows doing some stuff internally.. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 356959 ***
Ahh, alright, makes sense that windows may be the problem. Also i didn't see the other bug, guess i didn't put in the correct words to find it, sorry.
Finding duplicates is a bit of a dark art :-)
