Description Peter 2016-02-14 20:42:21 UTC
Configure tracks works very strangely.

Move track up and down always seem disabled (as per Bug #358434), but in addition add track is always disabled, and selecting multiple tracks and hitting delete doesn't delete multiple tracks. It deletes the last selected track from the set and then hitting delete again doesn't delete the next track that has last been selected. e.g. If I select two tracks, Video 2 and Video 3, delete deletes Video 3 and leaves Video 2 selected. Pressing delete again does nothing.

Version - 15.12.2 from Packman

Reproducible: Always

Changing the track name in the configure panel leads the the track being renamed in the configure panel, but leaves the actual tracks with the old names. On a save and restart the actual tracks reflect the new names.

Peter, can you please try with recent stable Kdenlive 16.04.2 if the bug is fixed? If yes, I would like to ask you to be so kind as to close this bug report as fixed. Thank you very much for your cooperation!
Comment 4 Peter 2016-08-05 19:59:08 UTC
Only part of bug that remains is no ability to add tracks from configure, everything else has been fixed / removed.
Comment 5 Wegwerf 2016-08-05 20:20:39 UTC
I've updated the title to better reflect the situation.
Comment 6 Davy Bartoloni 2018-05-11 11:04:07 UTC
fixed somewhere in time..
Comment 7 Peter 2018-05-12 05:40:24 UTC
What commit fixed this?

Just tried master and the behaviour is the same.
Comment 8 Julius Künzel 2021-03-03 00:13:24 UTC
This is related to an old version. Since then the timeline got a rewrite and it is likely that this has been fixed.

Can you please test with the latest version (20.12.2 at the moment, https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) and close this report if it is not relevant anymore?

Yep, not relevant anymore as there's no way to get the overall track config deeley to appear that I can see. Closing. Thanks for the attention.
