Description Wegwerf 2016-01-23 17:24:18 UTC
The "configure tracks" dialog seems to have buttons for reordering tracks; these seem to be the uppermost two buttons "^" and "v" to the right of the dialog. However, these buttons are constantly grayed out.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Reorder buttons "up" and "down" constantly grayed out.

Expected Results:
Reorder buttons available and reordering tracks.

I confirm this in 16.08.1
Comment 2 Michael G. Hansen 2017-08-21 19:18:33 UTC
According to the handbook, the buttons are grayed out because they were never implemented:

https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual/Project_Menu/Tracks#Configure_Tracks

IMHO they should be hidden until the functionality is implement. Otherwise, users like myself wonder why they are always grayed out.

Please try with the actual Kdenlive version 18.08.2

Tested with 18.12.1. This issue is solved with the 18.12.1 version.

This functionality is gone in the refactroing version.

So I believe we can close this one, emohr?
Comment 6 emohr 2021-03-17 19:10:24 UTC
Free configuration of tracks is possible up to version 18.12. I close this issue as this is not possible any more with the still maintained 19.04ff versions.
