Application: kontact () Qt Version: 5.4.2 Operating System: Linux 4.2.0-23-generic x86_64 Distribution: Ubuntu 15.10 -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: I tried to close the program. It doesn't matter whether I close it by clicking on the top-right corner or via "file - exit". Strange behaviour I have observed: kontact always complains about kwallet not opening correctly ("several failed attempts to open a wallet"). This does not happen if I use a standalone program either. The crash can be reproduced every time. -- Backtrace: Application: kontact (kontact), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libthread_db.so.1". Martin, which version do you experience this with? It seems to be a Framework-based one, but this includes the Technology Preview versions (5.0.x). Did you ever experience this bug with a more recent version (5.1 or later)? Can you tell if it has been fixed in the meantime?
No, seems o.k. now. There is this other bug that kontact won't close when akregator had been used, but that's different. Closing this one.
