I have version 4:15.08.2-1… using oxygen theme. There is not enough space to show the page numbers. Reproducible: Always

same problem here - using kubuntu 15.10, fully updated

I can not reproduce this problem, do you do something special when opening the file? Or is it the second file you open? or?
Albert, did you post to the correct bug?

As reported in Bug 377299 the situation is somewhat different for me, as it displays 2 digit page numbers correctly, but fails to display more digits. This is due to a fixed text box size. It is independent of the window size and independent of the document, which you view. An adjustable page number box size would be preferred. If this is not possible, you might consider increasing the width to, lets say, 6 or 7 digits or so. Okular Version 0.25.0 KDE 4.14.22 Kubuntu 16.04
I remember seeing something like this in the frameworks branch (which is now in git master). However, that got fixed eventually (in a commit which I am unable to find now).
> This is due to a fixed text box size. This is not true. Which style are you running?
I am sorry, I did not want to offend anyone! Many apologies! And of course you are right. With the wrong statement I merely wantet to express, what it looks like to me. Sorry for that. The problem is indeed correlated to a special use case. The problem occurs for me in connection with the Kile Latex Editor. Here is what I have to do to get the error: - run Kile - compile a tex document with >100 pages (will attach minimal example) - use ViewPDF button to view - recompile tex --> PDF gets updated --> see box now So what it looks like to me is, that the box has the same size as the box which is displayed, when I start Okular without any document. I was curious if I can create the problem with other programs. So I did the follwing: - open PDF from before with Okular (everything is fine) - edit this PDF with pdfshuffler - view PDF in still open Okular --> see box now So it might occur whenever a currently viewed document is reloded due to a change detected? Thank you for the great software and your time!

Additions: If I have created the narrow box by methods above, and I collapse or display the left sidebar, the box will go back to the correct size. Hope that helps somehow. I can reach the even more narrow box reported by "LtWorf", when I have a document less than 10 pages long. My style is Breeze light as shipped with Kubuntu 16.04. (If I understood "style" correct?)
Fixed in newer versions. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 357579 ***
