- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Switching to another application, e.g. with alt-tab, or using mouse. This this not always trigger the crash, which is why I set reproduceability to sometimes.

I have kubuntu 15.10 installed, using the nvidia legacy proprietary drivers.

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

This shouldn't be marked as a duplicate of that bug.  It has nothing to do with POP or Akondai as far as I can tell.

I'm getting crashes of plasma shell as much as several times an hour during normal use in my Proxmox KVM running Kubuntu 16.04 (just upgraded from 14.04) with qxl display driver.  I've tried to attach the crash report to this bug but the crash reporter doesn't seem to want to let me because it's marked as a duplicate.

Nod, not a duplicate, but also not much kde can do about it: the crash occurs in software rendered mesa/driver codepath.
