Description stakanov.s 2014-01-09 21:04:31 UTC
Application: akonadi_pop3_resource (4.11)
KDE Platform Version: 4.11.3
Qt Version: 4.8.5
Operating System: Linux 3.11.6-4-desktop x86_64
Distribution: "openSUSE 13.1 (Bottle) (x86_64)"

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
This was without use of kmail that was running in background running the programmed check on a pop3 account.
- Custom settings of the application:
mailinglist as filter, download mail without eliminating it on the server.

Noted: crash, seems also that the kwallet function is somehow involved (sometimes) but that may come from the app crashed and wallet closes in the meanwhile. The filtering is working after a restart of kmail. It seems that some of the messages are downloaded although they have been downloaded before. Setting is: download and then shift to a precise folder. The folder has "scadenze" / deadlines for elimination set (30 days). System is AMD64, language IT. This is a fresh install (all new).

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

The backtrace of the crash is unfortunately not very useful, is this something you can still reproduce?

Feel free to close this bug as this is a bug report from two years ago. This specific problem seems to have been fixed by patching a conflict with wallet about a month ago.
At the time, there were all debugging symbols installed. If you want to do something good to yourself, you can tell me what could I do to give you better bug reports when kmail crashes (and belief me, it crashes still).
