Just to be sure that will be fixed by a new Qt version:

This problem happened on kcm_phonon but has been fixed and don't happen anymore whereas it still happen on plasma-pa. And this on the same distro and same Qt version.

I guess we will see when Qt 5.6 is released.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=348153 is about the very same KCM with the very same problem. Only at the time it was unreleased software and falsely reported against kcm_phonon.

For updates on the problem you'll want to refer to the Qt bug report as ultimately the fix for this needs to happen in Qt.

As you can see there the bug is still marked as unresolved so it is not clear in which version of Qt this bug will be solved.
