When making a rubberband selection on empty space, sometimes it remains rendered after releasing the mouse button.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make an empty selection
2. GOTO 1 as long as it doesn't stick there...


Actual Results:  
It sticks...

Expected Results:  
It should not stick:)
