Description Martin van Es 2015-11-10 12:13:15 UTC
I used to be able to change PA sink in the plasma Audio Volume systray widget, but this functionality seems to have disappeared since the upgrade to Kubuntu Wily.
I'd like to select my bluetooth A2DP sink after connecting to play music over my home stereo.

I know I can do this in pavucontrol, but I used to be able to do this in Audio Volume systray widget as well?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect A2DP device
2. Open Audio Volume control in systray

Actual Results:
No interface to change sink for application source

Expected Results:
Interface to change PA sink

I'd find this functionality useful as well, and I know it was there.

I'm a bit in the dark why it was removed pre-release, perhaps the implementation had problems, but I'd love to have it back.

The irony is that I'm officially the maintainer, but I don't have much time right now to invest work into that. If someone else felt entitled, that would be most welcome.

After changing back to kmix because of bug #352055 I now realise that I was referring to lost kmix functionality, not plasma-pa.
