to switch timezone you need to select it in configure, turn on switch on mouse wheel, then scroll the mouse wheel over the widget. it's confusing even plasma's finest developers. Reproducible: Always
What would be the expected behavior then, especially if you select two or more timezones at once?
I travel a lot and I need to have multiple timezones configured. Obviously, I cannot have a mouse wheel available all the time with me. So, a better approach is needed. My proposal: * Add the option to change the timezone with we right click on the clock.
O
One thing we really need to fix conveying in Plasma is that the multiple time zones in the clock is *NOT* what you should use for travelling. When travelling you should change the timezone via system settings. Otherwise all alarms, calendars, emails, filestamps will all show the wrong thing. The applet part is purely for if you live in one country and want to see the time in another.

Ensure correct timezone is displayed when the selected ones change When the user selects another timezone and deselects the current one, the clock timezone should change immediately.
